Thinking of changing over to sky tv and broadband. Only because Virgin Media broadband is not good at all. Too many sluggish times. Anyone recommend sky? how do you find it?

I use Sky broadband and TV, it depends on several factors, like how you use broadband and which TV package you use, it can work out quite expensive, also bear in mind the initial offer will seem very attractive at first, but when the period ends it will increase quite a bit, check out every aspect of the deal and prices after the offer period, and terms & conditions before you commit...

    Thank you for your feedback.
I know what you mean. I just need the broadband to improve. I work from home some days of the week and find my current broadband is unpredictable. As regards the tv, I just need the basic plan. I had sky tv up to a year ago in my last house and eir for broadband and never had any trouble at all with either.

I see, so it really depends on the cause of your problems, the sky hub is not bad, not sure about the Sky Q, if your problem is related to line traffic usage, then using a different router/modem/hub will probably make no difference... I found Sky cheaper than all the competition, so that's a plus... Good luck with it...

Dunno if you sorted Broadband. I have Sky and it is really dreadful. I have just tested mine and it came back at 0.5 upload and 4.1 download. I called them yesterday to give my 31 days notice to quit and was planning to try Virgin but have noticed that you are changing from them due to their bad broadband. Hard to know who is better.
