Fire saftey valve leaking

    Hi guys,

My rdb oil burner is leaking from the fire saftey valve. When I expose the screw the leak rate reduces but I can still see some oil coming out.

I decided to turn off heating till I resolve it. Any ideas on how to fix it. Is a new valve easy to assemble for a novice.

The oil is coming out from where the screw goes through the valve head.

    Regards

    common problem

easy install once you have the replacement

ideally you should replace it with a remote acting version
