Do they even make summer big-blockbuster type action movies any more?

So Lethal Weapon 3 (1992) is on ITV right now. What a great movie. Just like Die Hard and Predator is has that late 80s / early 90s action style. Amazing movies.

I was talking to my brother about it last week and we both came to the conclusion that those big action movie blockbusters don't exist anymore. Seems to be all comic book movies mainly.

    Anyone agree?
    anyone miss them too? :(

    Good point.
Seems Skyscraper will be one. Seems a mix of the towering inferno mixed with Die Hard.

I dunno. Guess the day of the true action movie is long gone tho. I mean it's all CGI now. Take Lethal Weapon 3 here. Big action pieces all shot in front of the camera.
