I can't decide whether to get them revarnished or painted off-white. They are lovely when varnished and the rest of the house is quite bright, off-white walls and cream tiles/oak floors. However, I think they might look better/more modern painted. Afraid to make a big mistake if I don't like the paint and they look cheap. To paint or not to paint that is the question
