Looking for some help please. We are going to Munich for a stag at the end of April.

Its just 2 nights. Looking for a half decent hotel. And also where woukd the best place to go for a few drinks during the day. Watch sport and have some food. Then somewhere to go for dancing/ night clubs ?

    Any help is appreciated.

Jim, you seriously need to start a new thread and not tag along on this one which starts with a request for suggestions for a couple in their 50s.

    Mod note:

I moved your posting out from the thread you posted in OP. You might look through this forum as your query has appeared a few times now, with great advice offered up.

    Thanks,

We stayed outside about 10 mins away on the u-bahn. business area so got a cheap rate.

Beerhalls are good fun. for later in the night

This is the place you want to go, taxi is quick, but you really want to be heading here after midnight

Augustiner Keller on Arnulfstr. is the best place for traditional beer and food that is not overrun with tourists. It@s a fe minutes walk from the Hauptbahnhof (Central Train Station).

If the weather is sunny then the Hirshgarten is the best beergarden, it's reachable via S-Bahn to Laim, or Tram.

Both of the above are big venues for Munich people and are not touristed, unless things have changes massively in the past 5 years. I've been going to both of them since the early 1990's.

Augustiner keller / beergarden has big signs everywhere saying stag parties are not allowed. Its the only place I know of which explicitly bans them

Kultfabrik closed for good, after a few false alarms, a few weeks back. If you really need to dance, then maybe Neuraum near the Augintinerkeller would be an option. Its gigantic so they arent as fussy as the boutique clubs downtown.
Its a short walk from Hauptbahnhof, or sbahn stop Hackerbrucke

Nachtgalerie is another place a little further out that direction, but you'd be looking at a taxi for that. They even have a stag night package with reserved tables and whatnot https://www.nachtgalerie.de/web/jga/ booking through info@nachtgalerie.de (so number of people, dates etc)
