    Hi folks just wondering is there any news on airlines operating nonstop flights Dublin to Philippines
    I heard somewhere last year it was supposed to be in the pipeline thanks

    No news as there was only a rumour at best to begin with. Market simply isn't there for direct as it would be much dearer than a one stop

    There are very very few, premium European routes served direct

    Not in the foreseeable future, there is not the demand and also planes with the required range. Before it stopped in 2015 the "DIRECT" Amsterdam-Manila flight stoped in China for a refuel, this did not appear in the schedule since they did not have rights to pick up passangers. the KLM flight now schedules a stop in Taipei.

    PAL do a daily London-Manila Flight, and I think this is the only direct filght between Europe and the Philipines.

    Cathy will do doing a Dublin to Hong Kong service this year, which would be interesting if you wanted to go to Cebu area
