Choice (budget) between Kuota K-Uno full Di2 or Bianchi Infinito Full Ultegra Mech - Bianchi is just well Bianchi so I want it, but I always said next upgrade was yo Di2, so is the compromise on Di2 worth it for the Bianchi?

Thanks James - so you would pick Bianchi mechanical over the Di2 and K-uno? Is the Di2 not worth it?

The other dilemma I have is disks or rim - but think leaning to disks (not such a price differential there)

    Thanks

i has mechanical ultegra for 3 years and then had a love affair with bianchi. I couldn’t afford one so it was never goi g to happen. I got over it and found a specialised Roubaix with di2 second hand which I could afford. I think di2 is the mutts nuts where bianchi is now just another brand. Just my own opinion

I've a canyon endurance cf slx 8 di2 so ultegra di2 and discs, love the discs and love the di2 but I've always had it in my head a longing for a Bianchi too.
Di2 is nice but if a nech group set is tuned properly it's perfect and nó major advantage with the di2.

Shouldn’t a higher end Bianchi be kitted out with Campy??
I’ve always liked the look of Bianchis as long as they are in the Celeste colour.
I have Di2 on my good bike and find it fantastic. My other bikes have sora and tiagra fitted, so there’s no proper comparison for me, but the Di2 never really needs messing with once it’s set up, and I like that. Any adjustments can be done on the move as well so you know straight away if you’ve adjusted the right way.

I had a similar dilemma recently. Di2 or Bianchi? ... went for Bianchi frame and I'll transfer the Campagnolo chorus mechanical groupset onto it. Later in the year, I'll look at upgrading to Campagnolo EPS.

I hired a Bianchi Infinito with Ultegra Di2 when in Mallorca last year and have the same bike booked for this year. I'd go with both if I were you :)

I have a carbon road bike (Cervelo S2) with slightly lower end groupset myself, FSA/105 mix and was really taken by the Di2 moreso than the bike itself although I also liked the bike a lot.

thanks - am trying to negotiate (home and away) to explore options, as the more I read the better "both" look :-)
