Good place to get tyres in Dublin?

    Hello,

I am after all season Continental or Michelin tyres. I could be open to other brands like my trusty Hankook all seasons.

    I need 4, 225 50 17.

As someone who got tyres nearly exclusively online, are there any places around Dublin which would have these in stock?

Local places (small enough) have a limited selection of popular sizes.

I need them sooner rather than later, so I don't mind spending a small bit more.

    Any tips are welcome.

    Thanks!

I've gotten alloy wheels, and subsequently tyres over the past 7 years from Phoenix Tyres on Jones Road. I'd call ahead to specify if you are looking for a specific brand.

I got a very good price recently from Tyreland. Just waiting for the tyres to arrive in now.

I’ve found Tyreland’s prices pretty competitive.

Was going to go up north to save a few hundred but tyreland were close enough so wasn’t worth the trip.

Tyre land seem good, but you don't need to go all the way up north to find cheaper. McManus tyres in Drogheda have a lot of stock and good prices. I went with them last time as tyre land didn't have immediate stock in Kimmage and I needed NCT.

Yeah for the sake of 30 minutes up the road I'd recommend mc Manus tyres.
Just looked at there website n Uniroyal in your size are e110 fitted.
Dunno if yer runflat or not but they have 225/50 17s Bridgestones at 155 fitted which is pretty damn good.
Edit - with a disount on alignment usual price e50. I'd spend the few quid n align them too

Tyremaster on thw greenhills road should have what you are after. Got Michelin cross climates on the missus car and they had em in stock in a good few sizes and had a few other all season tyres there too. Got a different set on my van a couple of weeks ago and same story, plenty of selection of premium brands
