Bubbling and corrosion

I bought an 08 Subaru Outback for 4k and very happy with it (fun to drive :) ) but here is some corrosion and bubbling of the pain on the front of the roof just at the edges of the windscreen.
I wonder how easy it is to respray myself?
Tempted to have a go but wondering if its a misguided idea doomed to failure...

A picture would help, but once the paint starts bubbling it can be difficult to fix. I suggest you check with a local bodyshop for a quote and advice.

Paint probably got scratched during a windscreen replacement and it started to rust.

It wouldn't be too easy to fix yourself, depending on how bad it is there could be holes if you go poking at it. Matching paint finishes by rattle can doesn't work either.
