Castelli Perfetto Vest - sizing/fit Q

I've just bought myself the Castelli Perfetto Vest and I have question about sizing and how it should fit.

    http://www.wiggle.co.uk/castelli-perfetto-vest/

I'm 6'1" / 83 kg and I went for the XL. I'm normally a L, but went with the usual recommendation of going a size-up for Castelli gear (I have no other Castelli jerseys/jackets).

The gilet fits me fine around the shoulder, chest, stomach area (not too tight or not too loose) but it's pretty short (lengthwise) at the front. If I pull it down, you can still see my jersey underneath. If terms of Euro-ness, if the gilet, shorts and vest are all the same colour, then it might be okay. But a non-matching jersey and gilet would be nasty :pac:

The question is... if I go for XXL, will it make any difference?
Or is this just the way the gilet is designed to be, and I am just an anatomically awkward human being :P

    Thoughts?

Probably best worn with a race fit jersey which are all high cut. I think it you go next size up it will be to loose on you and not look right!

Yeah that's what I was thinking about the XXL... it'll be too loose.
    Thanks funnyclub

In general, I find it's best to buy all the sizes that might fit me, try them on at home, and send the rest back.

Costs a few quid in postage, but you get the right size.
