hi all.. booked flights for salou in May.. turns out the wife is now going to be heavily pregnant by then she be about 6 months

Is their a way to get a refund on the tickets? she won't be really up to going on holiday then she feels. If we get a letter from hospital would that cover us to get a refund?

Who are the flights booked with? Have a look at the terms and conditions on their website.

Barring death of a family member or death/serious injury to a booked passenger I don't think you have any chance of a refund. From the Ryanair site:

    https://www.ryanair.com/ie/en/useful-info/help-centre/faq-overview/Flight-Changes-And-Refunds#0-3
All Ryanair flights are changeable but they cannot be cancelled.

You don't need to notify us if you are unable to travel and if you can’t use your outbound flight, you can still use your return flight.

Flight dates/times/routes can be changed up to 2.5 hours before the flight departure time (name changes can be changed up to 2 hours before the flight) via My Bookings unless you have already checked in, in which case please contact one of our agents using our live chat.

If you do not travel on your booked flight the air fare, fees and charges are non-refundable but you may apply within one month of the date of travel for a refund of the Government Tax paid using this link.

Government tax refunds are subject to an administration fee. Click here for fee details. If the refund amount is less than the applicable administration fee, no refund will be made.
