Can anyone tell me what the above are like ?
Am looking at an ‘executive’ model, looks nice.

Missus expecting our 2nd child so need something with a bigger boot for buggy, shopping, dog etc

The one I’m looking at has 212,000kms on it, 1 owner from new.
Looks to be in excellent condition throughout

Also wondering if they are economical as I don’t want a diesel due to potential DMF,DPF issues.

    Thanks !

assuming its the same engine as the Mazda6, mine was economical enough on a long run, but any driving around town and you'd nearly watch the needle drop down. apart from that, great engine and i never had any issue with mine.

Hi, my wife had one of these until Summer last year, reliable car, economy was in and around 30-35mpg (1.8 Petrol, 2008).

It was serviced regularly, but at just over 200,000km on hers it started to burn oil, and mechanic advised a lot of them out there are like that, so get a mechanic to check this one out for you.

Whatever example you go for, you should be able to get a serious bargain due to lack of interest in big petrol engine cars of that age.

I have the model after, an 08. I picked it up last year with 138,000km, executive trim etc. for 3000 euro, two owner car. I probably could have gotten it for less if I'd bargained hard - the owner had been trying to sell it for months. Obviously it's not the same model as the one you're looking at but for what it's worth it's a beautiful car,

We had one until about a year ago. It was quite thirsty around town (10-11 L / 100km), but otherwise very reliable. Practical car, but note that it is not really a 7 seater, if that's one of the reasons you are buying it for. The middle seat will only fit a tiny person at the best of times, and if Car seats are fitted it will be hard to fit anyone in between. The 2 seats in the boot are handy to have, but again would only suit children or a very very small adult, and even then only for short distances.
