When I go back to work from maternity leave, they have a company closer to my home where they do all shifts( night shift would suit be better). The place I work in has only day shift , and I'm with them over 10 years. It would cost me too much on childcare to get 3 kids minded. There is no creches near me so going back on…

There is no creches near me so going back on days is out of the question. Can the company refuse you a transfer, even if they have vacancies on the night shift in the other Company closer to home. I haven't asked yet I'm just wondering if they did refuse, would I have any come back....thanks

No, they wouldn't be obliged to let you go on the night-shift.
