    After a bad experience buying a couple of bangers we are blowing the budget for the main family transport.

    Budget is between 10 to 15k.

    Interested in an xc90 but scared of the tax and bad mpg, it might end up doing up to 25k a year so basically never be off the road. They seem reliable once looked after and I've never read a bad review of them. Do not want a tiguan/ hyundai/kia sportage. ;)

    Buy one so. 25k is hardly never off the road though..
