water refunds

    Hi, I received a cheque with a refund but unfortunately I don't have an account (I'm currently unemployed and I can't create one), I paid my water bills through my husband's account or at the post office . My question is- is it possible to send the cheque back so you could change the receiver's name to my husband's?(I was advised to do that at the AIB bank). Thanks for the reply
