Gaming PC - 500 Euro Budget

Thank you in advance for any suggestions, looking to put together a new PC as my current one is coming up on being ten years old. The budget right now is set at 500 euro but I am willing to go up to maybe 550 or 600 if there would be a significant difference in performance. 
1. What is your budget? 500 euro budget 
2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Gaming only, mostly new releases 
3. Do you need a copy of Windows? No
4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? I have a Corsair PSU - PS550 about a year old or so, not sure if this can be used or not otherwise nothing. 
5. Do you need a monitor? No 
6. Do you need any of the peripherals? No
7. Are you willing to try overclocking? Yes 
8. How can you pay? credit card, I will order online as I live in Thailand
9. When are you purchasing? In about two months time

Get whatever low-end Ryzen 3/5, mid-range motherboard, 240Gb+ SSD, GTX 1050/1050 Ti if affordable.

Not sure with the current RAM and GPU pricing those two are congruous. TF will hopefully chime in here but by UK pricing 500 gets you what I'd call entry level.

Roughly similar, slightly more expensive but not hugely so by any means.

 What do you reckon about these specs? I am looking to build something that I can upgrade upon in the next year or so with more RAM and a GPU. If my specs are not realistic for playing new games with the addition of a GPU and more RAM, what should I be doing differently?

Looks like a good starting platform alright. RAM and GPU prices are screwed everywhere atm so those budget builds are hard to do even here.

Apologies, had to change strategy when I realised that 500 euro wasn't going to really cut it. I will probably end up throwing in a GTX 1050 either now or in a few months and then another 8 gig RAM in the future.

Rather than the 2400G you could also just get an Intel G4560 and GTX1050.

In a fraction of games that hammer multicore CPU's heavily (like BF1 online) the Ryzen would be better, but generally speaking in 90% of scenarios the G4560/GTX1050 combo will beat it by a very significant margain.

And it's fully upgradable to a cheap Skylake/Kabylake i5/i7 down the line.
