    Hi all
Our integrated dishwasher (IDWA804) isn’t turning. The last few weeks if we held the door open at a specific angle the display would turn on and it would work, but last night the display doesn’t turn on anymore... unfortunately we have a full load in it at the min. Any advice or opinions on how I might repair / diagnose the problem
    Thanks

Sounds like one of the wires that runs from the door controls to the main board has snapped.
It is repairable but you would need to take the door apart to find and replace the wire that has failed, or you could get a replacement wiring harness..

    something like this

hi all, just to reboot this thread as the dishwasher start working again without a problem untill today that is. I took the door off but couldn't really figure out what the issue was as there was no obvious breaks or damage in the wiring.
The symptoms are that it wont start a cycle. The display is sporadically coming on and off but when I close the door to start a cycle I can here a strange 'electrical' noise emitting from somewhere and no cycle starts... im a little bit paranoid about the electrical noises Im hearing and it being a potential fire hazard.
Im looking for tips or recommendation on someone/somewhere to call out and repair it to D15 area.
    all advise welcomed.

like dolanbaker suggested I would also suspect a break in the wiring harness but you say you have checked it. Did you check all the wires individually down at the bottom edge where they bend during the opening and closing of the door. if all is still ok there I would next be inspecting the door micro switch for signs of burning and next the on/off switch. ( if you find a break in the harness cut back the offending wire 6 inches both sides of the break and add in new wire, crimp join and tape up)

hi all, thanks for the replies. I took the door off but cant seem to source any loose or damaged wires. When i turn on the machine now it makes some random quirky electrical noises and then doesn't come on, it definitely sounds like an electrical fault.
Can anyone suggest where I can get in touch with for someone to come out and fix it or replace what needs replacing as there is water sitting in the basin of it from when a cycle didn't complete...
    THanks
