So,does anyone have plans for Lent this year?Any spiritual practices that you are taking up,or bad habits that you're putting down?

My plan, such that it is,is to read through Mark's Gospel and try to spend some time in meditating every day and praying for others. If it's even a partial success,I'll be pleasantly surprised.

On the practise, I've a small backlog of theological books built up that might be pruned back during this Lenten season. That and the traditional giving up Taytos of course.

I'm giving up drink and Facebook and I'll be praying more.

How about giving up 10 minutes a day to pray for Christians who are being persecuted in other nations?

Church in Chains are running a Lent project with details of prisoners: http://www.churchinchains.ie/events-reports/remember-the-prisoners-lent-prayer-project-2018/
