Home Renovation Site - No hoarding / Blocks Stacked

    Hello,

Hope someone can help.. there is a house renovation going on around corner from my house and the builder has not put up any boarding around the front garden so its basically an open site with all the rubbish and clay stacked in the front garden - this includes all the wood/rubble/old appliances are just piled up high in the front garden.

Alarm bells rang then yesterday when they had delivery of their 4 inch blocks and these are now stacked 6 ft high half in and half on the path, and 1 pile of them is actually laid up on a pile of clay leaning to one side.

I let things be this morning and didn't want creating hassle but now I find my kids, and their friends, down there playing this evening with my daughter leaning up against the 6ft high stack of 4 inch blocks with only a plastic cord between her and serious injury.

Can I ask if there are regulations that state these guys should have boarding up and is it allowed to leave the site open like this with no site safety warnings and for blocks to be openly stacked as they are?

I've been on safe pass training myself and all I am seeing here does not look legal. I am going to give them a chance tomorrow to rectify and if I get no where I am calling HSA.

Am I correct in my observations here and could anyone point me towards relevant docs on this that I can print and show to them.

Thanks for any help or guidance.
