    Hi all,

Had a second round interview for an Associate position at the Central Bank roughly three weeks ago. At the interview they told me they'd get in touch with me within two weeks.

Haven't heard anything from them since. Should I fear the worst? Anyone else heard from them?

I came in through that route a few years ago, IIRC it took a good while for calls to come out about it as theres a huge number of applicants to work through (grad scheme plus direct applications)
I think it was 4 weeks before I heard anything back from it, possibly more

Cheers mate, thanks for the info.

Longer wait = good or bad in your opinion?

Also any advice going in to a role there?

Depends massively on where you end up, every department is different. Just work hard, ask questions and feel free to suggest new ideas/initiaives etc. as I find most of the senior staff/management more than happy to support you in doing research/new projects etc.

What areas were you interviewing for/expressed interest in?
