    Hi Folks
Im with Virgin for my tv and broadband - have been since they were NTL (open to correction on this). Currently paying around 92 a month for it.

Moving house in the next month and I am considering switching to SKY. I don't know if the new house has a landline so would need to get one in but SKY are doing 25 (thereabouts) a month for TV package only

Sounds like a great switch but any downside? Thanks

Just a suggestion. Because research shows that a lot of people paying for TV watch free channels most of the time, try Free to Air for a couple of months to see how you get on. This is a list of the free channels on satellite. I think you would need to spend a lot more than €25 if you want the premium content, like Movies and Sport.

If you want the Irish channels free, you will need an aerial as well as a dish.

    Am like you
    Don't know what's best.
I was ntl-virgin over 20 years then it for crazy expensive and impossible to get thru on phone
I went to sky nov 2016 and now same bad price rises started at 98€ now it's €138!!

I can't find any company or local technition who can fit Soerview or combi box for me and neither can I get an answer for if they do a multiroom and record box.

Am in bed most of the time due to disability and chronic illness and on morphine so I sleep a lot so need box for bedroom and box that will record.
Loads of advice saying but this box and fit this areal etc but am too ill to do so I really need a good satalite engineer who I am happy to pay.
    Any advice?
