Sister Act musical on in the Town Hall theatre next week from Tuesday 13th to Sunday 18th (day off for St Patrick’s day). Lucia Evans is playing the lead character - should be a fabulous show. Some nights sold out already! Tht.ie

    Followed by the real one:
    Galway v Dublin.

Followed by 2 tickets to see Cillian Murphy in Grief is a thing with Feathers, in the Black Box Theatre.

    Galway Food Festival
    Mar 29 - Apr 02

    More info www.galwayfoodfestival.com
For this year's festival our theme is 'Planting Seeds', and of course it is about the origin of our food but also so much more. It's about planting the seeds of education and awareness; it's about planting the seeds of economic growth and development; it's about getting back to our roots.

There are over 100 food based events in this year's festival programme so there is definitely something for everyone.

A bit of open air trad on a stage at the middle of Salthill at the moment, a nice buzz in town but a brisk enough breeze too. :)

If you are around Galway City in Ireland today pop into 1984 Miracles for the Community Scratch showcase at 2 PM on 31st March and then at 4 PM at the Beirhaus bar the Community Skratch Games festival kicks off with an interesting lineup which you can further investigate on their event page. There will be another day of music at the Bierhaus on 1st April kicking off at 4 PM, call in and have a drink and a boogie. Admission is free :)
