Getting a rear wheel Tow: a few questions

Okay, was using Leaf Spy and was at 0.9 kWh when I last looked and a few minutes later it would not move again in a traffic line ( was under pressure getting to a medical appointment so may not have been paying too much attention.)

Luckily was in a town so pushed it off the road: Leafspy said 0.3kWh.

Now the puzzle: it would not turn off, it eventually did but I was puzzled as to why not.

I can't recall why it eventually switched off so as I could lock it.

I went to medical appt. and returned and called the Nissan collection number and sat in with heater on to wait.

Leaf spy said 0.6kWh but it would not move.

When the Tow truck guy called, he told me to turn off the ignition to conserve power because the car needed to be turned on to put into neutral for rear wheel and the ignition was left on during the short tow.

“I can’t pay my staff or mortgage with instagram likes”.

    Strange.
When I ran out of juice in my first week, it cut out on me when I stopped.
I could still turn the red lights on for radio, N etc
