Tata Consultancy Services - IT

A recruitment agent called me on Friday, promoting a new "exciting" senior level position which was a good match for my cv. The role was with the organisation above, Tata Consultancy Services. I am interested in moving to a new role and I am just trying to get some solid feedback on the organisation. I have looked on glassdoor and they have a good rating but most of their reviews are from overseas. From talking to the agent, I gather that the bulk of the IT work is done in India and you act as a buffer, technical and non-technical, between the client, usually a project manager and the offshore teams. He said that it is a very good position in terms of salary/benefits and it would be a 9-5 role in terms of working hours, which is unusual in the consultancy sector.

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone is working for or has worked with or for this firm? On reviewing the organisation online, I can see that they are a very big organisation but I've never come across them before.

PM'ed you. Sounds like a nice job but be warned (TCS) are a bit of a nightmare to work with - but it might be a different story working for them.
