    Hi folks,

I booked a standard non-flexible fare from Galway to Dub for today at 5, but I want to catch an earlier train at 1. Would you recommend just jumping on the other train or will they check either as you board, or while on board?!

Ticket only valid on train booked

Travel any other train and risk 100 euro fine

If you wan't a flexiticket you can buy one for €20-30 extra. If you have one for a fixed time you can't get another train but I have seen people get away with it in the past.

You mean you can't book another one online? Could you not just buy one at the station?
