Returning to work - receive temporary pay until pay day?

    I had an Intreo group meeting the other day and the host mentioned about a subsidy or similar for those who return to work but have to wait a long time before getting paid.

    In my case, if I accept a job offer, I'd have to wait 5 weeks before getting paid which would be hard as having no income would be too hard.

    Is there something available from Intreo or similar for such a scenario?

    If you are already on a payment the CWO will sort you out. They will ask to see a contract showing when you will be paid. It is a supplementary payment and does not need to be paid back.
