Van for odd Jobs

Think this is a bit of a bad subject, but I've recently moved and the last year and possibly next year I seem to be be transporting timber , furniture and everything and anything around.
    It's destroying the car.

Used to have a van in previous job which was very handy.

Been reading some threads and can't seem to figure out what the story is with vans in Ireland these days for private use.

Can you insure and tax a van privately these days. Wouldn't use it for commercial purpose.

Maybe a trailer would be better as using a van for private use seems to be quite complicated.

You could look at something like a Berlingo multi space or a Yaris Verso but yeah a trailer would make sense if you have the space.
