    Hi all,

My brother in law is collecting a moped tomorrow, does anyone know if these things can fit into the back of a 7 seater?

The MPV is a Ford Galaxy, the bike is a Yamaha Aerox.

Ive seen a lad with a Gixxer 600 race bike in a Ford Galaxy in Brands Hatch,so a Yamaha Aerox should be a piece of pi55.

Fold the rear seats forward and flat, and or take them out, simples

Was the gixxer standing upright or leaning?

I can't find the proper dimensions for the boot space.

Might need to lean it or take the mirrors off. Mirrors, IIRC, would be the high point

Judging by those links I’ll have to lean it, I just hope it doesn’t leak fluids in transit.

Siphon the petrol out into a jerry can?

Getting it secure would be a bigger risk than leaking some fluids. I wouldn't like to be stopping suddenly with a unsecured motor bike in a vehicle.

Yes that is another of my concerns.

It is being transported from another county hence having to bring it back with another vehicle.

It’d be too slow for a dual carriageway.

It's not allowed on a motorway.

Had one myself about 15 years ago, i took a wrong turn and ended up on the dual carriageway, flat out at 56mph/90km/h the abuse i got was no ones business.

This is coming back from Tipperary to Cork.

Plenty of back roads between Tipp and Cork, shouldn't be hard to avoid dual carridgeways

He doesn't know the roads and he ain't driving my MPV :pac:

The old road would be sufficient enough would it?

I'd nearly bus it up and drive it back in that case.

I don't go near the old roads since the motorway was built.

People have travelled continents on mopeds. Just don't ride or get bullied into the gutter and you'll be fine.

I drove it back in the end, small bit of bullying going on alright though.

Thread title made it seem like you were going to turn a moped into an MPV. I'm so very disappointed.

I'd have some job doing that conversion.

I've always wanted one of these. All the load carrying of a car with the constant threat of death I get from motorcycling.
