Trying to close account.

    Hi,

     about a month ago I contacted support (via chat) to close an Eir home account and was informed it would be closed. I expected a notification of closure which never came and yesterday I received a bill notification which includes the line rental for the future period. So plainly this has not been closed as requested. Chat on the site is currently down. 
     Can I get this sorted please?

    If paying by Direct Debit, cancel it.  Éir will then close your account pretty quick.
