the only times I have seen MLM perform in a very positive way, has been in Dail Committee.

She’s like the rest of them I suppose. A woman running for office against a gay fella against Michael Martin. They will try make it about that while telling the population everything is awesome/terrible. I’d probably give my votes to one of the people who helped the whistleblower stories and think if they got a party behind them at least it would bring on some change.

I don't condone what the poster wrote but this IS After Hours for fúck sake...getting so sick of this censorious attitude I'm noticing more frequently these days.

I worry for freedom of speech in the future.

I'm not a great wordsmith, my kind words were intended to to convey the message that I find Troisa Ferris a beautiful articulate woman. Back to Mary Lou, she's a career political. Back to what I know, I'd give Helen McEntee a rattle too. A blueshirt in the East Meath constituency filling the seat of her father Shane when he passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly. Like Troisa, she is a very capable politician, and had the honour of becoming the youngest Teachta Dail at the ripe old age of 26. When I finally get around to having sex with a woman, if push came to shove Mrs Ferris would win by a short head, but not short enough to warrant a photo finish. Averil Power (ind) would finish third, a solid e/w option.

I don't know whether your taking a swipe there as sarcasm doesn't translate well in text, but if not your spot on. They died to provide the freedom that we so readily take for granted today.
