Considering we don't know when and at what time you want to travel, you may find it better to look it up yourself on http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/

Both London and Manchester have multiple terminals, so that may affect what route and time you want to travel

Its best to book your ticket in advance as buying them on the day can work out really expensive.

Check out the link the previous poster gave you.

Also have a look at flights too if the trains are crazy expensive. Sometimes its cheaper to fly than it is to take a train. Depends on the date a time you need to travel.
