2014 Qashqai - heated seats

Hi, have a Qashqai with heated seats. Passenger seat isn’t working at all, taking it back to dealer to get checked. Popped the panel for the fuses to see if that was the cause only to find no fuses under the panel!

The driver heated seat works. However, it heats up nicely then stops and the heat goes off then a while later you’ll feel it kick in again. Is this normal or should it heat up and stay and a constant heat?

On any car I have had with them it stays constant once they have warmed up.

Nissan leaf heated seats cycle on and off as needed so quashqai might be the same.

Check the connectors under the passenger seat. You can measure the heating element and if it should show some low number of ohms as the resistance. If it's infinitive you got a broken wire within the element itself. You can also measure the connector for volts when switched on. If the reading is 0, maybe swap the two switches to rule out a switch problem.
