Heating oil fuel line blocked

Our oil ran out and I just got another 500 litres but the oil isnt getting to the boiler. I’ve disconnected both ends and reconnected which normally fixes any air locks.

However this time it’s not working and with the tank valve open and the boiler end disconnected no oil is flowing. Seems like it’s blocked with sludge.

What’s the best way to fix this without having to call someone out? Gas bottle to some connector to the top of the pipe? Blowing really hard?

    Any suggestions?

There should be a oil filter on the line check that's not blocked up with dirt from the empty tank . It will stop any new fuel coming through

Depends where it is fitted, in may cases it is just before the burner, I am presuming that in this case
