    Hi.
I have an Hyundai tuscon with 3 kids.
    Ages are 8, 4 and 2.
Struggling with space and want to avoid using seatbelt extenders.
Looking to change, budget max. 33k.
Would like to stick with suv.
    Thanks

Go see the Peugeot 5008 SUV Active Model (within budget). Model starts at 29K for the Manual Petrol Access. Dont be put off by the 1.2 Petrol if it serves your needs, its a gem of an engine.
3 individual seats for the kids too..

Are you happy with your Tuscon?

You could buy a Multmac car seat if so.
    https://multimac.co.uk/home

They are expensive but a lot cheaper than changing car.

I’m also in the same boat and from what I can see there’s very few models that allow this.
    Ford galaxy
    Ford s max
    Peugeot 5008
Not sure about the grand c4 Picasso or the skoda kodiaq.

There is hardly any choice other than 5008, if you want 3 separate seats in second row and SUV style.

    Very happy with tuscon.
    Seen multimac, very expensive.
Can fit 3 seats but need some kind of seatbelt extenders. Has anyone with a tuscon used these

in fairness to multimac I can see why they're expensive.
A lot of design has to go into those seats to make them meet safety criteria and also not compromise the vehicle in any way otherwise they'd be wide open to a lawsuit.
The 3 seater option is £1499 which I don't consider to be a bad price at all when you fact in the cost of actually changing your vehicle.
If I saw a seat that allowed that same but only cost €300 or something I'd be extremely skeptical that it would meet any safety criteria whatsoever.

    Kia Carens
    Toyota Verso

These two are not your typical 7 seaters, sleek looking with three 'proper' seats in the back

5008 is new and looks good but unknown reliabaility so far.

Dacia duster actually fits three seats in the back without extenders. possibly Skoda Kodiaq too?

Apart from that its the usuals, Galaxy, Altea, Picasso, Scenic etc etc

I was in the same boat as you [space needed for 3 child seats without using seatbelt extenders] and was all on for the new Peugeot 5008 but I ended up getting a fully loaded [4x4] S-max Vignale in from the uk. The car had only 7k miles and has every possible extra, glass roof, heated and air cooled full leather seats, adaptive cruise control, full led adaptive headlights, brake assist, pre collision assist, auto tailgate with handsfree operation, memory seats, heated steering wheel, front camera, etc, literally everything. Car landed for around €35k all in. If you get the non awd version, the vrt would be less as the CO2 is lower, so you could source one for around your budget no problem. The space for the 3 kids is fantastic, flat floor on the second row, loads of space between the child seats with plenty of access to the seatbelts, best car we've ever had, highly recommend it. Was driving an audi allroad before.

I think the skoda kodiaq is extremely boring looking on the inside and quite plane design on the outside. The Peugeot is far nicer looking. I saw one earlier today in pearlescent white with the black roof and it looked very well.

Thanks so much. That car sounds amazing.
My budget at 33k is unfortunately goin to have to be pcp as tuscon is on pcp.
Goin to look at vw tiguan, similar rear space to tuscon but it's seats can slide forward and back in the rear.
    Thanks
