Hey there, just wondering what backdoor ways is there to get into primary teaching,my leaving certificate wasn't fantastic,230 points,I only had 5 subjects and dropped the third language,
is there any plc courses that will lead into a course in primary teaching ?
i understand that this may take 6+ years and i am still willing to do it

You need to have Irish. If you don't have it you can go the TEG route in maynooth university.
Google primary teaching maynooth and they explain it better. You can do primary teaching part time through Hibernia college once you meet the requirements criteria...the main one having Irish.

you can do an arts degree or a degree in something else that interests you and then do a masters/hdip in teaching.
