    Hello, I am looking for a place in or near Limerick city that supply drums of home heating oil or sell from the pump. Thanks.

    Stay away from the co-op very over priced go across the road to the scrap yard and garages they will surely have a spare drum that they would want to get rid off.

    Try out some of the local car wash lads, always have empty drums from detergent they use.

    just be careful that the drums are clean and with no water

    for some reason oil burners don't like water more the pity

    Also if its being used with anything with a wick, keep a mile away from oil drums or you will be buying a new wick in a few days and maybe even a few more than that.

    It also seems to be impossible to wash them out properly. the only oil barrels that I saw used successfully with wick appliances, where ones that had been swapped new for old with a JCB driver who had been bringing them around with him full of diesel.
