Hi, I've been asked to make a wedding cake, would like to use a tree slice of around 15 inches as the stand for the cake. Anyone know somewhere in Ireland I could source one as postage from abroad is quite high.
    thanks. 😉

There's a few companies that do wooden slices, mostly for chopping boards.
They offer 'bespoke' cutting too

Just search for ' Irish chopping boards '

    e.g. http://www.bunbury.ie/shop/

Click HERE and write him a nice message.

Tim is one of the nicest, most likeable people I've encountered on the internet. The YouTube channel he runs with his lovely wife is one of the most heart-warming things you'd spend time watching. Genuine, down to earth, decent people.

Do you know what, you could be right indeed. I put 2 and 2 together and figured it was a 4 I had, but it could absolutely be a 5. :o

Well, let's just say, Timfromtang is an awfully decent fellow here on boards, while Tim is an awfully decent fellow on youtube. Similar interests in solar kiln drying woods, small woodlot/forest husbandry, sawmilling and so on, but maybe that's as much of a shared identity as they'd have! :)
