Amazon shopping

I am looking at buying some electronic goods over Amazon, i've looked at the various european amazon sites, and it is a fair amount cheaper buying through amazon.fr or amazon.it, than amazon.co.uk, and I have been stung before by import duties on buying from amazon.com (although they appear to be cheapest). Are there any drawbacks in buying from other amazon sites? What is going to happen after Brexit?

Other EU Amazon sites won't have any extra VAT or duty. Amazon.com is the USA site, so yes it will of course have Vat and possibly duty payable. Nobody knows what is going to happen around Brexit.
