There is only one link provided?

From all the other threads you've posted, I think you do a fair amount of mileage. Considering you're used to a diesel, I'd think carefully re going to a petrol.

    HI all,
as previous threads mentioned my e39 2003 530d has given up and I'm sick of pouring money in for it to be constantly repaired and the tax on it is brutal. So I'm looking at tomorrow tomorrow hopefully and I'm looking for opinions regarding:
    Reliability
    Comfort
    Economy

    any further advice welcome

one is a link to a petrol 1.8 merc the other to the e class diesel. E750 to tax the 1.8? is that right, thats a joke. If you are being hammered on tax currently and want to save on that, If you are going to do it, do it right in my opinion. I.e drastically drop in motor tax. E750 to tax a 3L bm on the newer system, thats for the petrols from 08 and that merc 1.8 is E750. Id be looking elsewhere... I take it that you do low enough mileage?
