Online return ?

    Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the right section to post in.

Have a strange question. I bought something on Zara online over Christmas. Upon arrival I realised it was far too big for me and immideately requested an online return. After a week no one had come to collect it so I contacted customer care and requested again, I was given a date (which was in 5 days time) but again no one arrived to collect it. So then I contacted customer care again and requested a returns label, they contacted me saying someone would be in contact but again nothing. So I requested it again and then someone contacted me saying it was now over the the month and they couldn't accept the return.

I explained that I had contacted them (roughly 10 times) within the month to arrange this but they said they couldn't help.

Generally I wouldn't be too bothered but considering I done everything I could to facilitate the return and also the fact that the item cost €130 I feel really cheated. Anyone know what I can do to address this?

Do you have any proof you submitted a return request, usually when you do these things online you get an email confirmation of the request. If you have that ask to speak to a manager on the phone and submit your proof of request.

Failing that contact your bank to request a charge back or start eating more cake.

    Thanks for the response,

I have all the emails detailing my efforts. I told them this and they gave me an email address to send them to but I've sent 2 emails and still no response. The customer care team have told me that they've been informed that the matter is now closed.

I'm not really sure what else I could have done. Is there anywhere you can take this further?

Surely my bank won't grant a charge back if I still have the item?

Get hold of a manager on the phone, loose the cool but be polite. You get a manager and they'll sort it. It's the easiest way.

Is loosing the cool the opposite of loosing the hounds of hell?
