    Hi guys, 2 questions ..

I am wondering if can install Saorview on a 50" Hisense M3300. I picked up this recently and it was originally bought in the UK so has Freeview HD installed.

Also all the related Smart content is UK stuff, iPlayer All4 etc.
RTE and 3Player etc arent in the Hisense App store , is there any way of installing their APK files via USB?

I tried a factory reset but there doesn't seem to be an Ireland option after rebooting, Just UK , Spain, etc etc..

    thanks

Yes it will work for Saorview.

If set to the UK the logical channel numbering for the channel will start in the 800's, but I'm sure you can renumber.

Theres a firmware update for these that you can manually install that enables HDR on Netflix etc..... google it. Its on the Hisense France site

The tv told me there were no updates available. But I downloaded the update from the french site and this update added a few apps to the homepage. Not found the hdr option on netflix . so maybe its not an approved partner with them. Its a pity incant get rte player in there , I'll just carry on with my android box.

The inbuilt netflix app does not have HDR. The HDR kicks in when using an external player, eg Nvideo Shield.

Do you have your tv set to UK region for OTA updates?
