    hi

my sons 2004 318 ( e46 Manual ) ) wont start and is stuck on his drive way :(:( . key turns - all lights come on but no click from starter .

Tested battery and it was low at 11.01v so swapped in another battery ( that i know is good ) and still same results.

Done a bit of digging again and it appears the starter seems to be buried away and is not from what i can see easily accessible to tap it to see if its stuck.

Any idea's how to get it started so he can bring it to a mechanic

    TIA

    brendan

Try jumping from a running car, just in case.

in case you didn't know - don't jump the car from the battery in the boot, use the terminals in the engine bay.

i'd push it to start as per OP: 'Tested battery and it was low at 11.01v so swapped in another battery ( that i know is good ) and still same results.'
so it isnt the batts issue
