ABS pump bleeding without scan tool?

    Any one ever bleed an abs pump/module without using a scan tool? Anything to do/ not to do? Many thanks oh and car is an 07 Suzuki swift. Old pump is leaking, a common problem with this model according to the internet.

    You can normally bleed then as normal with any brake. Only the odd system requires the pump to be activated but you should be fine.

    I am hoping that is the case but if push comes to shove I will get it towed to a Suzuki dealer and get them to bleed it. Many thanks for taking the time to reply!
