Is it still possible to lodge a cheque into someone else's account on their behalf? If they were sick for instance and couldn't get to the bank?

If the cheque is made out to the other person & its being lodged into their account then there is no problem. I do it in bank of Ireland all the time

    Hi there,

Thanks for getting in touch with us here.

Once you have the account information for the account that you'd like to lodge the cheque into you can make the lodgement into the account with cashiers in any branch of Bank of Ireland.

    Thanks again,
    Darren.
