    Hi all,
    I am a sole trader.

My 2017 return will be due by Nov 2018.

I have made a rough calculation on what i'll owe for 2017 (i'll do the exact figures at a later date)

Question is: On ROS (how I usually pay after filing my reutrn), can I pay a chunk now, and the final amount in a few months when I calculate the final amount?

The reason being.... I want to avoid getting hit with the whole amount come Nov 2018.

From what I remember, you can do this on ROS by simply choosing to pay (whatever figure you wish to enter) for the previous year return, but would like to get feedback first.

    Many thanks.
