    Hi,
Looking to change wheels as I am starting a long commute - all motorway, about 220km each day.  My current car has had issues and not sure I trust it for a daily hike anymore.
Looking for recommendations for an efficient, comfortable car for the trip.  Easy on hatch/saloon/estate - comfort&mpg most important.
Interested to hear peoples thoughts on Citroens (DS4 / C5), passats, Volvo v40/v60, other recommendations.
    Budget: max 15k.

That's a lot of driving. Get something big, diesel, automatic with cruise control.

Might be cheaper and less stressful to stay in an AirBnB and/or work from home a few days of the a week. Spending 15k on a car that will be doing over 1k km per week will also suffer huge depreciation.

Don't get an auto if it will reside mostly on the motorway.

I hate to be the one to suggest it, but if you have to be doing that kind of mileage, electric is the way to go.

Maybe get something more interesting for the weekend then since you'll be saving a €100/week on fuel

Looked at electric but range is concern. Also looks to be poor recharge points on the route.

With that mileage I’d probably look at a minded €3-€5k car and change every year.

Diesel Insignia. Which should do me but the issues I have had, I am seeking a change.

Laguna 3 1.5 dci with good spec would be comfortable and economical. It won't be a rocket ship though.
