I need to attach some big brackets to a block wall to hold a lean to roof. I was going to use steel expansion rawl bolts but then I found some heavy nylon fixings with coach screws.

Which is stronger ? I am aware that over tightening steel bolts can crack the block. And as the bracket holes are quite close together, I would guess that the risk of cracking is higher.

    That's a really obvious & logical thought.
