    Hi all,

Due to recent issues with the "Here's what I saw today" thread regarding Photobucket not working for a lot of people, this thread is for people to give their chosen alternatives for image hosting sites that they think are good and don't currently suffer the same fate as Photobucket.

This thread is solely for suggestions therefore all chat will be deleted.

    My choice: Flickr

Flickr all the way. It offers (like photobucket) a digital copy of your photos but without the annoying ads and awful layout. Also you don't need a yahoo email address anymore.

Downside to flickr is the inability to post images to forums on mobile.

Or if you can I haven't figured it out.

postimages.org all the way!! simple quick and easy!

And it allows you to resize easily so you are not uploading MONSTER sized images like a few people regularly do

    Imgur test mobile

Can anyone tell me how to get the image files to display and not just links. I tried img tags for Flickr and imgur but they just have invalid images. Both a same pic and are set as public

once you have registered for imgur, just copy direct link of uploaded picture and then paste in img tags, see below

Any third party hosting service may be gone eventually.

Boards' own hosting will last forever.
