Claiming holiday pay from old job

    Hi there,

Approximately three years ago I was working a retail job for roughly six months, no fixed hours, typically 20-30 hours a week, sometimes 40, slightly above minimum wage at the time. Being young and naive when I left that job I failed to make any inquiries about annual leave and my holiday pay entitlements. Since I didn't take any paid leave whatsoever while working there I'm pretty sure I was owed holiday pay when I left (is it 8% of your wages for part time jobs?).
Am I correct here and does anyone know if I have any right still to claim what I might be owed? Or is there a time limit on this sort of thing which would have since elapsed?

Many thanks for any insight any of you might provide.
