Cant Log into eBay

    Hi

    Hope this is in the right section.

    Yesterday when I went to log into eBay, it would not let me log in. It keeps refreshing to the sign in page and says Oops, that doesn't match. If I try to log in a second time it then asks me to enter a verification code, still wont let me log in. I did enter the right details, also cleaned cache and cookies, disabled add-ons and no luck with safe mode.

    It also wont let me log in with my other laptop. I have tryed pretty much all the solution's from researching this problem online and no luck.

    Does anyone know of a way in contacting eBay if you cant log in so they can fix this problem for me?

    Are you sure you are using the correct user name? If you click on forgotten password you should be able to reset it by entering ID or email address, but you must have access to email address.


    You might be able to get help from ebay on the co.uk or com as they have support by chat

    Username is correct and I did the forgotten password with no luck, same thing is happening.

    If you already tried with another laptop, maybe try to logon on your phone while connected on 3G and Broadband maybe to determine is for some reason is your ISP.

    Did you try the contact using the ebay.co.uk chat should be available

    I tried my phone and no luck. Just checked there now, I can log on with ebay.co.uk and ebay.com, but cant send invoices or do business because I signed up with ebay.ie. It's strange that I cant log in with ebay.ie.

    I'm wondering would the Java Platform SE plugin be the problem. I checked and it has be disabled in my Firefox plugins and this is next to it "is known to be vulnerable and should be updated" but it wont allow me to update it when I try.

    I will give chat a go next.
